At least 13 people are killed and over 30 others are wounded when two car bombs explode in quick succession in central Baghdad on Tuesday (July 31).

They said that the attacks targeted civilians at al-Anduls square in Baghdad.

Violence in Iraq has eased since the height of sectarian slaughter in 2006-2007, but insurgents still carry out deadly attacks, especially around the capital.
