Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of NEO CONTRA for the PlayStation 2 (PS2). Neo Contra was released back in 2004 from Konami. The Contra franchise doesn't return to its side-scrolling shooter roots in this game, even though many die hard Contra would like to see it do so. The shoot 'em up and/or run and gun action is still there though and the frantic pace just keeps going.
