The film is an adult comedy and is a sequel to the 2005 movie 'Kya Kool Hain Hum'.
"Yes, we will try to do a sequel," said director Sachin Yardi.
Released on July 27, the film stars Tusshar Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Neha Sharma and Sarah Jane Dias.
"We were told that since our brand is seven years old, we will have a Rs 10-crore opening. To open at Rs 23 crore was amazing. It is the highest opening during Ramzaan. I am totally overwhelmed," producer Ekta Kapoor said.
Ekta also claimed that the film cost Rs 13 crores to make and it was expected to make Rs 15 crores.
"We decided that if it crosses the Rs 20-crore mark, we will call it a hit and if it crosses the Rs 25-crore mark, it will be a super hit. On the fifth day today, it crossed Rs 29.5 crore," she said.
Tusshar Kapoor is also elated with the response the film received."We prepared people by telling them that the film was not critic-friendly. India is biased against sex comedies. I was neutral to comments and I am happy that people liked the movie," he said.
