Football's lawmakers are set to make a decison on whether to lift their existing ban on female players wearing the headscarf (Hijab).

Sepp Blatter, the Fifa president, will consider lifting the ban on Saturday at the annual meeting of the group.

The headscarf that is worn by many Muslim women was banned from top level games five years ago on safety grounds.

A vote by the International football association board could see that decision reversed.
