Two people have died in South Africa amid ongoing labour unrest.

One woman died in hospital in Marikana after being hit by police gunfire, while an armoured police car knocked over and killed a miner in Rustenburg.

Employees at a platinum mine there want a similar deal to the Marikana workers, who sealed a pay hike two days ago.
