A Danish sperm bank is facing possible legal action after allegedly failing to disclose that one of its donors carried a genetic disease.

A Danish newspaper claims at least nine of 43 children, fathered by the man's sperm, have been diagnosed with neurofibromatosis type 1.

The disorder causes tumours to grow around nerves.

Nearly 20 of the children live in Sweden and Norway.
