Evergreen Local School District became a Green School when they enlisted energy services company, Brewer-Garrett, to design and install an energy conservation program that would save the school money on utilities. HB 264 allows K-12 districts to become energy efficient by using utility cost savings to pay for improvements instead of using taxpayer dollars.
