A Moscow court has adjourned the appeal of jailed Russian punk band Pussy Riot until October 10.

One of the trio, Yekaterina Samutsevich, told the panel of judges that she no longer wanted to be represented by her lawyer.

The three women are appealing their two-year sentence for hooliganism motivated by religious hatred.
