A Dutch pro-abortion group that runs a so-called "abortion ship" has had its entry into Morocco blocked.

The Women on Waves vessel's first visit to a Muslim country was aimed at raising awareness about safe termination methods.

But its route into the country's northern port of Smir was cut off by Moroccan warships.
