We have a long history of honoring the Olympics dating back to 1932 with the Los Angeles Summer and Lake Placid Winter Games. This includes some air mail and several stamped stationary issues. Stamps feature various sports events. More modern trend begun in 1960 with a stamp for the VIII Winter Games at Squaw Valley.
