Although this French orchestra was relatively renowned in the mid-thirties, recorded quite a few sides and comprised many outstanding jazzmen, I have sadly been unable to retrieve any visual material. Moreover, even written information is scarce. However, I did find the personnel performing on this superb 1935 side: Patrick, trombone; Alphonse Cox, trumpet; Gaston Lapeyronnie, Noël Chiboust, Pierre Deck trombone; René Weiss, Charles Lisée alto saxophone and clarinet; André Ekyan, Andy Foster, Alix Combelle, Jean Chabaud, Roger Chomer vibraphone, Django Reinhardt guitar, as well as Louis Pecqueux and Maurice Chaillou drums.
