A new dog house sofa gives pet-friendly furniture new meaning, allowing dog and owner to sit together in their own spaces.

A Korean designer’s newest creation of pet-friendly furniture includes a sofa for you and your best friend to relax comfortably together. The ‘Dog House Sofa’ appears to be a modern, two-seater couch, but on one end there is a wooden, semi-enclosed cubby, which is padded and designed solely for the comforts of a dog.

The products website states “ This sofa is composed of the solid, ash wood and a fabric. Combining the sofa and dog house deliver the new space of communication between human and pet.”

Recently, another piece from this designer’s collection gained popularity. Dubbed the 'cat tunnel sofa', the couch featured two large foam-like cushions for people and pets to sit on, while the back side and arm rest are actually a tunnel for a rambunctious cat to play in.
