Along the coast of South Carolina is a 60 mile stretch of coastline, commonly referred to as Myrtle Beach. At its heart is the family friendly beach area known as Surfside. Although it is only a 2 square mile section of land with 1.9 square miles of land on .04 square miles of water, it is a favorite of many due to clean beach, smoke free zone, and convenience to Myrtle Beach's attractions. Of course, it does have some activities of its own.
