Celebratory gunfire at a wedding in Saudi Arabia leads to many deaths.

Weddings usually means happy times, but one recent ceremony turned out to be a tragedy.

The wedding party was taking place in a small village in Saudi Arabia, when celebratory gunfire broke out.

One of the shots hit a high-voltage electrical line, causing it to fall into the courtyard and shoot off sparks. The power line had struck a metal exit door and a blaze broke out.

During the disastrous accident, 25 people were reportedly killed, due to electrocution or the fire. Three dozen other guests were estimated to be injured. Most of the fatalities were women and children as the area which caught fire was designated for females due to gender segregation rules in the area.

Earlier this year a wedding and gun shots led to a dangerous situation in Russia.

Passengers in nine high-end cars allegedly began shooting when other motorists tried to pass the wedding convoy. The shooters reportedly admitted to firing shots into the air and thankfully no one was injured during the ordeal.
