"America's Got Talent" judge Sharon Osbourne said she had undergone a double mastectomy after finding she carries a gene which increased the risk of developing breast cancer in an interview with U.K.'s Hello! magazine.

The 60-year-old, who's married to Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, had already battled colon cancer in the past and opted for the surgery as a precaution against further cancer.

Osbourne said the decision was a no-brainer and the operation took 13 hours. However she wanted no pity, especially now she could really start enjoying her life as a grandparent.

Before to the surgery Osbourne had also found out that her breast implants had leaked into her stomach wall, and now she was "definitely done" with cosmetic surgery.
