The Spanish government has approved emergency measures to help families who are unable to meet their mortgage payments.

It is suspending evictions for two years for some low-income homeowners, in response to a wave of suicides and protests.

But as Al Jazeera's Tim Friend reports from Madrid, many will still fall between the cracks.
