At least 14 people were killed in a fire in a slum in Bangladesh's capital city Dhaka on Sunday, police and fire fighting officials said.
Officials said the blaze broke out around three in the morning in one of the homes in the slum.
At least 500 dwellings made from corrugated tin were leveled to the ground.
Hundreds of residents of the slum are still missing.
The causes of fire was not immediately known.
