The people of the Caucasus republic of Abkhazia have elected a new leader. It's been confirmed the country's vice-president Alexander Ankvab has seen off the challenge of two rivals in the presidential election. There's much at stake for the country, which needs to rebuild after its long fight for independence from Georgia. RT's Tom Barton joins us live now from the capital, Sukhum.
