Amitava Bhattacharya, a man who left his esteemed job in California to revive the traditional arts of India. He set up the Banglanatak.com which works with 23 states and uses theatre as a tool for social change. Amitava is making contribution by reaching out to the unreachable and using theatre as a means to empower the society at large. This Global Indian has taken his first step towards providing a million rural artists of India a way to revive their art forms and bringing them on a global stage
