They survived the typhoon but now now residents of some of the hardest hit areas in the Philippines are struggling with food shortages.

Along the roads, survivors can be seen begging for food. More than 300,000 people have been displaced by the typhoon. Many are staying in gymnasiums and other temporary shelters as they try to figure out what to do next.
The death toll from Bopha, the worst typhoon to hit the Philippines this year, is now well over 400, with nearly as many still missing.
