The 12th International Economic Forum has seen a gathering of leaders from the former Soviet Republics. Russia's Dmitry Medvedev played the host for his counterparts from countries including Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Moldova, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Some difficult talks have already been held with Georgia's President Mikheil Saakashvili and Ukraine's Viktor Yushchenko.
