Rockstar Games processes six PS2 classics through the ESRB, Resident Evil 6 launches Xbox 360 exclusive multiplayer modes, and 2K Games initiates iOS game sale, THIS IS NICK’S GAMING VIEW!
Hello everyone and welcome to Nick’s Gaming View, you are here with your host, Nick McCandless. Shortly after the release of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on PlayStation Network as a PS2 Classic, Rockstar Games has processed six other previously released titles through the Entertainment Software Rating Board hinting at future PlayStation 2 classics including: Bully, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, Midnight Club, Midnight Club 2, Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix, and Red Dead Revolver. Considering Rockstar’s heavy push towards bringing their solid PS2 lineup back to life, it sure would be nice to see Rockstar put a bundle together for those interested in picking up the entire collection.
Despite the poor feedback received, Capcom has acknowledged the fact that Resident Evil 6 has been the most successful release in the franchise by selling individual online game modes currently exclusive to the Xbox 360. Priced at 320 Microsoft Points or $4 each, those interested in diving into Resident Evil 6’s online multiplayer can expect to experience Predator, Survivors, and Onslaught. In Predator, up to six players will engage in a rotation of quick-fire rounds, those opting into Survivors will take part in solo and team deathmatch style gameplay where once you are taken down, you respawn as an enemy character and reclaim human status by getting revenge on a human, and finally Onslaught puts the player along with one competitor in the midst of wave-based gameplay where each player will fight to push enemies to the other player’s horde via combos. For those interested in purchasing all three multiplayer modes, the trio can be had at a discount of 720 Microsoft Points or $9 saving gamers a few dollars to spare.
Wrapping up Nick’s Gaming View, for the millions of iPhone iPad, and iPod Touch owners traveling due to the holidays, 2K Games has launched their 2K Holiday Sale offering five of their iOS releases at a discounted price. Priced at just $0.99 iOS owners now have the opportunity to pick up Borderlands Legends, NHL 2K11, Civilization Revolution, and Sid Meier’s Pirates! Those interested in picking up the latest NBA release, NBA 2K13, will be able to do so for just $2.99. Have a long flight or drive that you are dreading, what better way to let the time pass by, assuming you aren’t the one in the driver seat of course.
