The end of the world is nigh - at least according to some followers of the ancient Mayan calendar. They are following a Mayan prophecy, found carved on a stone 1,300 years ago. But others think it refers only to the start of a new era. Fact or fiction the hype surrounding the so-called Mayan predictions is causing a boom in tourism especially for Mexico.
