At least two upstate New York firefighters were shot and killed Monday at the scene of an early morning house fire in a suburb of Rochester.

Two others were wounded.

They were shot by a gunman as they responded to the scene of several house fires in Webster, New York,

Local law enforcement officials are now evacuating and searching homes near the site but have not yet turned up any suspects
