Merchant of Death extradition case resumed

A court in Bangkok has begun hearing the extradition case of Viktor Bout, a Russian businessman facing charges of arms trafficking and terrorism in the United States. Proceedings were delayed briefly after Bout's lawyers claimed he was being illegally detained. But the judges decided their complaint would be dealt with later.
