The Bosnian-Serb war leader Radovan Karadžić's faces genocide charges at the UN Tribunal in The Hague. He was captured near Belgrade after a manhunt which lasted eleven years. The EU says the arrest brings Serbia closer to Europe. Karadžić's supporters say he is being held illegally.
