Stone Age Gamer decided to celebrate my one thousand subscriber milestone by sending me an Atari Jaguar. This system came out in 1993 to compete with the Super Nintendo, Genesis and 3DO. It touted 64 bit technology and promised to deliver a superior gaming experience to any other console on the market. Unfortunately due to poor hardware design and lackluster (or non-existent) 3rd party support the Jaguar ended up being a commercial flop and was Atari's final nail in the coffin as a hardware developer. All this aside, there is still some awesome titles for the console and is an interesting investment for any die hard collector.
