Amateur video said to be filmed in the Syrian border town of A'zaz shows bombed out buildings and smoke rising on the horizon.

Reuters can't confirm the content of the video, but a Reuters reporter on the ground saw a Syrian warplane bomb a part of the main market.

Nearly two years into the conflict-- and neither President Bashar al-Assad nor opposition fighters can agree on terms for peace talks.

Earlier this month, in a speech widely criticised by the international community, al-Assad called opposition forces "terrorists".

And in a nod of support, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called on rebels to drop their preconditions that Assad step down before peace talks can begin.

But for the opposition, al-Assad's continued rule remains the main sticking point.

After the latest government bombing some of the 34 or more injured were rushed across the border to a hospital in Turkey, local media say.

Seven of the injured died, at least four others remain in critical condition.

At least 60,000 people have been killed in the conflict so far.
