ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
STORY: A total of 16 passengers were killed and at least 20 others were injured early on Wednesday morning when a bus overturned on its way from Yangon to Taunggoke in Rakhine state.
Footage from the Democratic Voice of Burma shows casualties being carried away from the accident site.
Road accidents are very common in Myanmar, with bad roads and decade-old vehicles often blamed. The quality of cars used in the country has improved since the new government lifted a long ban on car imports in 2012.
