STORY: An all-star cast assembles for the new psychological thriller "Side Effects."
Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jude Law, Rooney Mara and Channing Tatum attended the film's New York premiere on Thursday (January 31).
The movie, directed by Steven Soderbergh, takes audiences on a series of twists and turns as Mara's character goes through a series of side effects caused by a drug she is taking for depression.
On the red carpet most of the cast had a tough time outlining the film without spoiling the plot, but Zeta-Jones took a chance.
"It's really hard for me to describe the film because there are so many twists and turns. And at any given moment I could ruin it for the good well-paying moviegoer. But basically it's an on the edge of your seat psychological drama. At the on start you think that this is a quintessential happy married young couple. But as their lives start to unfold and spiral out of control with the side effects of one pill, their life changes forever," said the actress.
"Side Effects" opens in U.S. theaters on February 8th.
