Marineland is suing a formerly employed trainer who it claims trespassed and tried to steal a walrus. As a trainer, the man had established a close relationship with the walrus, named "Smooshi," but after quitting he has publicly voiced concerns over the park's mistreatment of animals. Marineland is seeking $1.5 million in damages.
