School of Seven Bells (often stylized as SVIIB) is an American indie rock band from New York City, formed in 2007. It consists of Alejandra Deheza (vocals, guitar) and Benjamin Curtis (guitar, synthesizers, vocals). Former member and Alejandra' sister, Claudia Deheza (keyboards, vocals), left the band in 2010.
The Deheza sisters are formerly of On!Air!Library! and Curtis is formerly of Secret Machines. The band is named after a mythical South American pickpocket training academy of the same name.
