United States Secretary of State John Kerry arrives in Ankara where he is scheduled to meet President Abdullah Gul, Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan and his Turkish counterpart, Ahmet Davutoglu.
The visit is a part of a nine-nation trip that also took him to Berlin, Paris and Rome where he met members of the Syrian opposition as well as a wider group of nations.
The visit comes after comments by Erdogan on Wednesday which equated Zionism with crimes against humanity which the U.S. has condemned as "offensive".
