The U.S. Copyright Alert System will come into effect this week. This means the five major Internet Service Providers (ISPs): AT&T, Cablevision, Comcast, Verizon & Time Warner Cable, will all be able to hit you with notices, block you from certain sites even slow down your internet speed if they detect you are downloading content illegally.
