Sofia Vergara is freezing her eggs.

One celebrity is gearing up to have a baby..at some point in the future.

Sofia Vergara revealed to Vogue that she is freezing her eggs. She claims to be taking hormone pills in addition to receiving injections.

The 40-year-old actress states “They want to get as many eggs as they can because usually you produce them, but they're not good. My boyfriend is 37, younger than me, never had kids.”

The timing is slightly ironic considering her ‘Modern Family’ character, Gloria recently gave birth on the ABC hit show. Vergara already has a 21-year-old from her previous marriage, but instead of preparing for a future grandmotherly role, she wishes to conceive another baby with her businessman boyfriend, Nick Loeb.

Another actress may also be considering the egg freezing process. 34-year-old Jennifer Love Hewitt has reportedly inquired about prolonging her fertility in order to start a family.

According to US Weekly, she has previously stated “I'm obsessed with babies. I would love to have them one day.”
