Thandai - Holi Special Cold Drink - Indian Milk Shake Recipe by Ruchi Bharani [HD]
INGREDIENTS-
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon fennel seeds
8 peppercorns
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
saffron
6-8 green cardamoms
3 tablespoons dried rose petals
6-8 almonds
1/2 litre milk
ice cubes
almond flakes
pistachio flakes
METHOD-
- Add peppercorns, almonds, saffron, poppy seeds, fennel seeds, green cardamom, rose petals and sugar into a mixer. Grind them well into a powder.
- Add this powder to 1/2 litre milk. Add few ice cubes and blend well with a hand blender.
- Refrigerate the drink at least for 2 hours. Pass it through a sieve while serving. Serve chilled.
