Separate gatherings of neo-Nazis and anti-fascists in the town of Pforzheim, Germany, were kept apart by police on Saturday to prevent clashes.
The right-wingers gather for a torch vigil in Pforzheim every year on February 23rd, to commemorate the anniversary of an Allied bombing raid in 1945 that they claim was a war crime. Anti-fascists protested against this year's demo, saying it detracts from a focus on the suffering of victims of the Holocaust and other Nazi crimes against humanity.
