Eighteen-year-old Elmira Abdrazakova has won the 2013 Miss Russia competition held in Moscow on Saturday.
By going to the top in the contest the Siberian economics student won $100,000 (€77,000), a luxury car and the opportunity to represent her country at the Miss Universe and Miss World competitions.
After she was chosen out of 50 candidates, Abdrazakova told the press that she would spend the money she won to help her hometown.
The Miss Russia pageant was first held in 1992, replacing Miss USSR which had first been staged four years earlier.
