Serbia will mark a 'day of mourning' on Wednesday, after a gunman killed 13 people, including a two-year-old child - in a shooting rampage.

Police say a 60-year-old war veteran entered five homes at dawn on Tuesday, killing most of his victims in their beds.

It happened in the village of Velika Ivan-cha, south of the Serbian capital Belgrade.
