Chinese girl and man freed from sticky situations

Over the past two days, rescuers in China have freed a young girl, whose head was lodged between two walls and a man who was trapped inside a bell.

Official Chinese state television CCTV released footage that showed fire-fighters rescuing a six year-old from between two narrow walls.

CCTV reported that the child was playing with neighbourhood children on Sunday (April 14) when her head got stuck and firefighters arrived at the scene to free her.

The broadcaster said for three hours fire-fighters tried various methods to free her. But it wasn't until fire-fighters drilled part of the wall away that they managed to pull her head out. She was taken to a local hospital for a check up.
