Over 70 years ago, World War II… Last flight of the Dornier 17 bomber called the flying pencil, shot down over the Kent coast… Today work begins raising this rare German aircraft from the bottom of the English Channel. A two-year restoration by the RAF Museum in Hendon will follow – with loads of lemon juice! (cont)
