Jodi Arias has been convicted of first-degree murder for the killing of Travis Alexander, which she claimed was self-defense.

Alexander, Arias' ex-boyfriend, was found dead in his bathroom with nearly 30 stab wounds, a gunshot wound in his forehead and a slashed throat. Yeah ... self-defense.

The soap-opera-like trial included X-rated details of her salacious relationship with Alexander. If the jury decides the crime was committed in a heinous, cruel or depraved manner, Arias could face the death penalty, which she claims is her preferred alternative to prison.
