"I didn't have anything to eat, I only had two bottles of water with me. The last two days I did not even have a drop of water. I got a stick to show them I was alive. I heard someone speaking above me and I called out -- but no one could hear me."
The Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is calling it a miracle.
(SOUNDBITE) (Bengali) BANGLADESH PRIME MINISTER, SHEIKH HASINA, SAYING:
"After 17 days the woman was rescued. It's a miracle of God and I offer my gratitude to God. And I want to thank the volunteers who helped out day after day. I started to think that rescuers would not risk helping more people. I was afraid of that. And I'm grateful to God and I'm thankful to the rescuers."
