Attempts by the UN's nuclear agency to persuade Iran to resume cooperation over its suspected atomic bomb research have failed.

Talks in Vienna between the IAEA and Tehran ended with a vague mention of future meetings but analysts believe the Islamic Republic is more focused on presidential elections next month.
