Thousands of people in southwest China have protested against a planned petrochemical plant. They are worried that the project, due to be finished next year, will pollute their environment, but the government says the plant in Kunming, in Yunnan province, will be safe and bring economic growth. Al Jazeera's Nadim Baba reports.
