Apple gives this app a 9+ rating for infrequent/mild cartoon fantasy violence.<br /><br /> Characters are killed on screen, but the deaths are free from blood and gore. <br /><br />The various fighting feats are accomplished with no squeamish effects attached. Battles occur on different beautiful grounds, such as on a boardwalk with a mountain in the background. <br /><br />The avatars, true to avatar form, are far from realistic. While they move across the screen well, their movements are less than fluid and they seem to appear lifted off the background, rather than incorporated into it. <br /><br />No background music exists on Avatar Fight. However, sounds certainly accompany the fighting. Each weapon or method of attack has its own sound that is repeated with every movement.
