Suffah Foundation is an international mission, committed to serving the DIN (faith) of Islam and humanity in general and has been actively engaged for many years in the fields of Da'wha-o-Tabligh, education and research, welfare and community development. <br /> <br />The Foundation has been set up with the help from a few but dedicated friends in order to organise and discharge most effectively and meaningfully the services to the Faith and mankind thus fulfilling the fondness of members of the Ummah for understanding the Faith and reformation of the beliefs and practices. Consequently it aims to help them become more active practitioners of the Faith. <br /> <br />In the beginning <br />The students of the first School of Islam, established in the Prophet's Medinan Masjid, were known as the Ashab Al-Suffah (People of the raised platform). These companions, with complete devotion, learned from the treasures of the beloved Prophet Muhammad, Peace and Blessings of God be upon him. <br /> <br />With this knowledge they set out and shared the Prophetic guidance with the rest of the world establishing the teachings of the Quran and Prophetic Sunnah. <br /> <br />The Suffah Foundation aims to continue this tradition of learning, practicing & teaching Islamic values through the production of written materials, the Internet & public talks.
