They also draw influence from the songwriting strength of Aerosmith, and the versatility and sexual imagery of Prince. When listening you can even see the vibrant colors and skewed world of a classic Warner Brothers cartoon or a Robin Williams concert.
<br /><br />Their CD, "I Know I Shouldn't Say This, But..." encompasses leader, Phil Johnson's thoughts on life as much as his lighthearted comical personality. In their first full-on comedy CD, Roadside Attraction says all the things you wish you could say to others, but can't.
<br /><br />In "LCW" (listen) Phil skewers everyone's cheating ex with all the things that should have been said to them at the time. "Asshole" (listen) puts voice to the frustration that everyone has with their inept and annoying co-workers. "Horizontal Tango" (listen) lampoons the popular women's fantasy of the dark exotic stranger by showing him for what he really is.
<br /><br />Roadside Attraction puts forth that reality is at its most real when you're happy and enjoying life.
