NIO-K & LASCO, frères jumeaux d’origine congolaise, créent en 2007 le groupe MAPASSA. Influencés par des artistes tel que BONE THUGS ‘N HARMONY, Gregory ISAACS, UGK, BUSTA RHYMES, WU TANG CLAN, MAPASSA a su développer son univers artistique autour de différentes sonorités musicales (dancehall, hip hop, reggae, musique africaine…) <br />La complicité et l’alliance des identités artistiques font aujourd’hui la particularité du groupe. Les textes sont inspirés de faits réels et de souvenirs vécus pendant l’enfance comme la guerre.
