Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) is the global campaigning and lobbying organisation to restore democracy, human rights and rule of law in Burma where everyone can enjoy the freedom of speech, press, beliefs, assembly and rule of law that emphasizes the protection of individual rights. Our organization perception is that freedom of expression and fair elections are prerequisite for thriving democracy which will demonstrate the genuine desire of the Burmese people. Elections must reflect the will of the people and can also act as a litmus test of public support for current government policy. <br /><br />As we are living in global village, every country is interdependence due to the mutual responsibility and dependency on others.
